Andalucia has some of the best venues in the
world for a range of sports, which should satisfy the desire
for modest thrills and adventure inherent in most of us. Within
a relatively small area, the region has the sea, hills and
mountains, undulating countryside, forests, wide open spaces,
lakes and rivers, major cities and tiny hamlets, hundreds
of wonderfully sunny days, just the right amount of rain,
snow, beautiful flora and fauna, dozens of species of wild
animals and birds - enough to be going on with.

Golf:
A fabulous year round climate, high quality courses, challenging
greens
all combine together to make the Costa del Sol the number
one golfing destination in Europe. With over 30 courses on
this stretch of coast alone, whatever your handicap, there
will be a challenge on the greens of Spain to test you! There
has been massive investment in facilities over recent years
resulting in a golfers paradise with some of the most luxurious
clubhouses and beautifully landscaped courses in the world.
b
Skiing:
With the Sierra Nevada mountain range only approximately an
hours drive away from the Mediterranean Sea. Offering cool air,
lush vegetation, snow covered peaks and fantastic hikes you
can be skiing in the morning and sunbathing on the beach
in the afternoon. The chief mountain range of southern Spain
is Granada prov, running from east to west for c.60 mi (100
km), parallel to the Mediterranean Sea. The ranges highest
peak is Mulhacén (11,411 ft/3,478 m). The range, which
contains Spains largest national park, is very popular
with skiers.
